Class of 1969 reunion

We were recently delighted to welcome back Law School graduates from the class of 1969.

Class of 1969 in Firth Court

The former 91Ö±²¥ students reunited to reminisce about their student days and studying Law in 91Ö±²¥ whilst also having the chance to meet with current staff and students. It was fitting that the reunion took place on the same day as our Undergraduate Open Day. Seeing graduates who completed their time at 91Ö±²¥ 50 years ago come together while the department also hosted hundreds of young potential applicants was wonderful.

The alumni group gathered at Bartolomé House, now home to the School of Law and met with the current Head of School - Professor Graham Gee, our academic employability lead and current staff and students. Professor Gee presented to the group in our Slaughter and May Moot Court on what studying Law at 91Ö±²¥ is now like. After inviting questions and comments it was nice to hear the fond, vivid memories the alumni still had when looking back at their time in 91Ö±²¥.

Our current student ambassadors then provided tours of Bartolomé House. While the alumni hadn’t studied in this building, these tours offered an opportunity to better understand current student life and for ambassadors to share their own personal experiences as a 91Ö±²¥ student. Our Law alumni continued their reunion with an evening dinner at Firth Court.

We would like to thank the class of 1969 visitors for returning to 91Ö±²¥, sharing their experiences and being so generous with their expertise and knowledge when meeting current students. They were excellent company and had many fond memories to share.
