UHS responsibilities

  • Providing vaccinations and blood tests as per referrals

UHS is not a Occupational Health assessment service and only provides services based on the instructions of a risk assessment carried out by either OH or the referring department and does not conduct further investigations for abnormal blood results.

In the event of an abnormality, the patient will be contacted and advised of the appropriate action e.g. share the result with their own GP and request a follow up appointment. The result may also be shared with OH/Referring Department if consent is provided.
