The studio proposed the creation of a sustainable urban neighbourhood in 91直播, exploring alternative political, economic and land ownership models better able to address the urgent global challenges of climate change and social inequality.

The studio鈥檚 focus was on the Wicker, an area just to the north-east of 91直播 city centre, which serves as a gateway to the industrial east of 91直播.

Students worked collectively to develop a shared strategy, reimagining the Wicker as an environmentally sustainable and socially dynamic urban neighbourhood.

Individual projects sought to maximise the use of existing buildings and infrastructure, working with and enhancing the area鈥檚 historic character and rich cultural heritage.

Taken together, the proposals created an architecture which enriched people鈥檚 lives, was socially inclusive and protective of the environment.
