Lili's research focuses on the Smart City, especially the relationship between the government and companies in the construction and operation of Smart City. She joined the UI in May 2022 for a 12 month studentship.

Lili is now pursuing a PhD degree in the , China. She finished her master’s degree in the School of Management & Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology, and her bachelor’s degree in the School of Economics & Management, Xidian University.
Lili's work is part of the UI's Urban Automation and Robotics theme.
