- Profile
-
I joined HEDS in December 2013 as a Research Assistant. Prior to this I studied at the University of York, completing my MSc in Health Economics in 2013 and my BSc(Hons) in Economics in 2012. Since joining HEDs I have been involved in the modelling projects in many different disease areas, including diabetes, oncology and emergency medicine.

Current projects
I am currently involved in the following projects:
- Hypo-RESOLVE - investigating the costs of hypoglycemia
- Major Trauma Triage - developing a health economic model to assess the cost-effectiveness of triage rules to determine whether or not people should be sent to a major trauma centre
- DAFNEplus - investigating the cost-effectiveness of the DAFNEplus structured education and follow up programme compared to the original DAFNE structured education programme for adults with type 1 diabetes
- Propels - investigating the cost-effectiveness of a programme to increase physical activity in people who are at a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes
