Dr James Douthwaite

is a Research Associate in Collaborative Robotics at 91Ö±²¥ Robotics at the University of 91Ö±²¥, 91Ö±²¥, UK. He received his MEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Liverpool in 2015 and hid Ph.D from the University of 91Ö±²¥ in 2019. As an early career researcher, James has numerous in the field of collaborative robotics, multi-agent systems and procedural modelling of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). His interests include multi-agent systems, hybrid aerial systems, industry 4.0 technologies and automation.   

In his role within the CSI:Cobot project, James functions as the technical lead for the Digital Twin (DT) environment. Here James draws on his technical abilities as a researcher in robotics in the environment’s core functionality. His role emphases planning and system design whilst coordinating objectives and development across multiple multidisciplinary research teams.
