Professors Simon Dixon and John Brazier, together with Dr Praveen Thokala gave a total of five talks across the two days. Professor Shunping Li and Dr Zhuxin Mao (Shandong University) and Dr Xiaoning He (Tianjin University) also gave talks. The Masterclass was chaired by Professor Qiang Sun of Shandong Unviversity.

Details of further workshops planned as part of the UK-China Health and Economy Partnership will be available soon; these will involve the Universities of Leeds, York, Zheziang and Fudan.
The UK-China Health and Economy Partnership (UK-CHEP) promotes long-term collaboration between UK and Chinese universities by focusing on the economics of healthcare for the mutual benefit of the two countries. GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) assisted in the development of the partnership and has provided funding to ensure its success.
Professor Sun Qiang, Professor of Health Economics at Shandong University, said:
