We have a varied programme of events and activities designed to help you settle into life in 91Ö±²¥ and meet other students.

Christmas vacation programme 2024-25
The Global Campus Christmas vacation programme of events and activities runs from 23 December to 17 January and is open to all students looking to meet up with others during the holiday period.
Most events are free, but there are some where you will need to purchase a ticket. These are indicated in the programme.
Most events will require sign-up so that we have an idea of the numbers who will be attending. Where required, sign-up links can be found in the programme description below. Once you have signed up, you'll receive an email giving you further information including where to meet and any ticket purchases required.
All events are facilitated by our team of Global Campus Ambassadors (wearing pink tops).

Friday 10 January
11am to 2pm: Shopping / cafe visit to Abbeydale Road. CANCELLED
11am to 1pm: Football. CANCELLED
Saturday 11 January
11am to 1pm: Badminton. (Meet at Goodwin Sports Centre)
Monday 13 January
10.30am to 12.30pm: Morning coffee at Sellers Wheel. (Meet at )
Tuesday 14 January
10.30am to 12.30pm: Morning coffee at Marmadukes, Cambridge Street. (Meet at the Diamond south entrance)
Wednesday 15 January
11.30am to 5pm: Walk in the Peak District. (Meet at the fish sculpture outside 91Ö±²¥ train station)
Thursday 16 January
11am to 1pm: Brunch at Cambridge Street Collective. (Meet at the Diamond south entrance)
2pm to 4pm: Football. (Meet at Goodwin Sports Centre)
Friday 17 January
10am to 3pm: Walk to Forge Dam. Join us for a picturesque walk through 91Ö±²¥â€™s parks to the edge of the Peak District. (Meet at the entrance to Endcliffe Park)
