Former ballet dancer turned author, Eleanor Dixon, wants to do more to help charities whose fundraising capabilities have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eleanor and her husband, Shaun, are long-term supporters of SITraN and have promised the first year's profits of her new children's book to SITraN and their local Children鈥檚 Hospice, Hope House.
Shaun and Eleanor spent a long time researching a cause where they could make a difference. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and motor neuron disease (MND) in particular struck them as areas needing investment. After meeting Professor Dame Pamela Shaw they were inspired to become more actively involved. Shaun and Eleanor have now made SITraN one of their charity partners.
Eleanor explains, 鈥淐harities have had a lean time of it with people not being able to run the normal fundraising events and this is one way in which I can help.鈥
THE GRACEFUL GHOST is rich in authentic ballet school details and sparkling with ghostly mischief. It is a timeless, fast-paced story which combines humour and emotional conflict with the world of ballet boarding school. For middle-grade children, 9 + yrs old. Eleanor says, 鈥淵ou don鈥檛 have to be a ballet maniac to enjoy the shenanigans in this book, but all the better if you are.鈥
THE GRACEFUL GHOST is published under the Burreau Publishing label and is available on Amazon in ebook or paperback forms.
