Arriving on the day
You'll have booked to visit us 10am to 12.30pm or 2pm to 4.30pm on your offer holder day. Please arrive in good time for the start of your booked session, as we'll need to scan the QR code from your booking to register you.
Your arrival location is: Hicks building, Lecture Theatre 7 (LT7). You can , and there'll also be lots of open day staff and ambassadors around campus to help you.
If you arrive late for your booked session, please report to the general information stand on the Students’ Union concourse, where event staff will be able to help.
When booking, you'll be able to reserve a place for yourself and one guest at the school activities. To ensure safe venue capacities, we'll be unable to accommodate any additional unbooked visitors.
However, you're welcome to bring additional guests to accompany you on the day, and we'd encourage these guests to take part in our range of central exhibitions and tours while the school activities are running.

Physics experiences
We run a range of activities on our offer holder days to give you a real taste of what it's like to be a physics and astronomy student at 91Ö±²¥. In addition to a tour of our teaching labs, where you'll complete practical laboratory sessions during your degree, you could also get to take part in a research talk, physics talk, astronomy talk or chat with current students.
Information for parents and supporters
While you're taking part in the physics experiences, parents and supporters will receive more information about our School and facilities. They'll also get a chance to speak to current students and staff about the exciting opportunities that are available to you, and where a degree from 91Ö±²¥ can lead.
Science and Engineering Foundation Year
If you are holding an offer for one of our courses with a Foundation Year, there will be an optional talk where you can find out more and ask any questions. The morning session will take place in Lecture Theatre 8 in The Diamond from 11.30am to 12.30pm. The afternoon session will be held in Workroom 1 in The Diamond from 1.30pm to 2.30pm. Booking is not required for either session.

International undergraduate scholarships
We offer a generous package of financial support for international undergraduate students, including scholarships worth £10,000 towards the annual tuition fee (worth up to £40,000 for four-year programmes).
Applications are open for existing offer holders for an undergraduate degree programme starting in autumn 2025.
