Profile

Ling Min is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the South Yorkshire Sustainability Centre. She is working to develop a Regional Emissions Budgeting Framework and inform decision making through data-driven solutions.

Ling Min obtained her PhD degree from the Department of Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of 91Ö±²¥ for developing 'An Ecological-Thermodynamic Approach to Urban Metabolism', with scholarship supports from the Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures. Her research focuses on understanding and formulation of the effects of city economic and energetic characteristics on their resources consumption.

Prior to starting her role at the South Yorkshire Sustainability Centre, Ling Min contributed to the Active Building Centre Research Programme to develop a data-driven retrofit workflow for large-scale decarbonisation through evaluation of data integration and housing stock modelling approaches for meeting net zero residential emissions.
