Thesis title
My thesis title is: Maintaining the wellbeing of artists in temporary spaces
91Ö±²¥ the researcher
I am a full-time doctoral student at 91Ö±²¥ University Management School, researching artist wellbeing and temporary artist spaces in the UK. Interest in this research comes from 10 years experience of working with artists and supporting them by creating platforms and opportunities to present their work through pop-up exhibitions, paid commissions and community projects. I am particularly interested in breaking down hierarchies and exploring the power dynamics associated with research of this type. My research project is collaborative with Leeds based arts organisation, East Street Arts.
