Rieman Rudra is an University Teacher in Finance/Financial Management.
He holds a BSc in Actuarial Science (London School of Economics and Political Science), a MSc in Actuarial Management (Bayes – formerly Cass Business School) and a PhD in Financial Economics (Loughborough University).
He joined the Management School in 2023 and teaches Corporate Finance and Company Valuation and Analysis. Prior to this, he undertook seminars in Financial Economics and Portfolio Management and econometric workshops in Stata at Loughborough University.
He is also a student member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and working towards the actuarial fellowship.

- Business cycles, with a particular focus on emerging market economies
His overarching research objective is to spearhead ground-breaking and transformative investigations that offer valuable perspectives on the complexities of financial markets and roffer solutions that can exert a meaningful impact on economic policymaking.

Rieman enjoys teaching across both UG and PG levels. Currently, he teaches the following modules:
- MGT3009 Company Analysis and Valuation to undergraduate students
- MGT6097 Corporate Finance postgraduate students.
Prior to this, he has also taught Financial Economics and Portfolio Management and has held workshops in Refinitiv Eikon and Stata at Loughborough University.
