In addition to the eShelf, StarPlus offers other tools which research students might find useful. The alerting feature is described below.

  1. When you have refined your search strategy in StarPlus, save it.
  2. Give your query a name eg wind turbines.
  3. Select ‘save and alert’, check your email address is correct and then ‘save’.
  4. You can view, edit and delete your saved query in StarPlus from the ‘myLibrary Account’ link at the top of the screen near your name.
  5. You’ll receive an email whenever new research is published matching your search keywords.
