A warm welcome to the University Library!
Over the next few weeks, the library will be running a series of drop-in events for you to come and explore our spaces, as well as the opportunity to get your hands on this year's library goodies!
Drop-in sessions
A chance to meet your library team, find out about our spaces and services (and bag your library tote bag!). There will be tours of the Digital Commons, where you can decorate your tote bag and make badges, and an introduction to our Research Skills and Critical Thinking workshops.
These drop-in events are a great opportunity for you to:
- Meet the Library team and find out about how we can support you
- Take a tour of the Digital Commons and explore all new makerspace
- Learn about Research Skills and Critical Thinking workshops, and get a taster of how the sessions are run at the Information Commons
- Pick up a library tote bag and other freebies!
Drop-in events at the Information Commons:
- Tuesday 24 September - 12pm-2pm
- Thursday 26 September - 11am-1pm
- Monday 30 September - 12pm-2pm
- Wednesday 2 October - 11am-1pm
Library Quest
The time has come to embark upon your quest...
Are you a new or returning student or a distance learner who is studying remotely? Join the Library Quest, discover the treasure the Library holds within it's spaces, and digitally! Undertaking the quest will mean you are automatically entered into the prize draw for the chance to win a University of 91Ö±²¥ hoodie!
Consider this your guide to navigating your library, whether you are on campus or studying remotely, the quest awaits...starting Monday 23rd September!
