Where we live

Lewes is where Thomas Paine honed his views. It has the River in which Virginia Woolf drowned. It is where Mantell, who first recognised a dinosaur fossil, lived.

The Battle of Lewes and the Mise of Lewes are more important than the Magna Carta.
