Tailored support in 91Ö±²¥ for BAME people

In addition to our University support services, there are tailored services and community groups across the city that you can access. 

•  is a community organisation delivering services that aim to tackle the persistent social and economic disadvantages and educational barriers that Black and Minority Ethnic people face. 

• is a a survivor-led mental health & wellbeing organisation supporting black people with mental health issues.

•  is a campaign led by SADACCA and 91Ö±²¥ Flourish, funded by 91Ö±²¥ City Council, aiming to engage Black men in 91Ö±²¥ in conversations about mental health, addressing their over-representation in mental health wards and under-representation in community settings.

•  is an organisation committed to improving social equalities and inclusion for communities experiencing disenfranchisement and marginalisation in 91Ö±²¥. 

•  addresses the needs and aspirations of South Asian women in 91Ö±²¥, offering advocacy, counselling, health and wellbeing programs, and educational opportunities to empower women to identify their own needs, create solutions, and make informed choices.

• provides cultural, educational, and social support services to the African and Caribbean communities in 91Ö±²¥. 

• provides services and activities to meet the needs of the Chinese community and holds annual events to engage a wider audience.

• connects Roma communities across 91Ö±²¥, enabling their voices to be heard and facilitating meaningful two-way communication with various city agencies and organizations.
