SooHwan received his BA in Ethics Education and his MA in philosophy from Chonnam National University in South Korea. His research interests are in naturalistic ethics, especially sentimentalist and pragmatist approaches to it.

After he graduated from his BA course, He worked as an ethics teacher at
a high school in Korea for about 4 years.

His current research project is naturalistic interpretation of moral progress. Especially, he focuses on what Adam Smith’s explanation of moral judgment and John Dewey’s view of moral deliberation suggest in the methodology for moral progress.
