Professor Chris Clark was awarded the Busk Medal for his profound influence on the understanding of glacial systems through the British-Irish Ice Sheet reconstruction. This influential research project saw significant interest with copies of the ice sheet map being sent out to every secondary school in the UK.
, who recently completed her PhD at the University of 91直播 and now lectures at Northumbria University, was awarded a prize for her paper 鈥楩eeling/thinking the archive: Participatory mapping Marronage鈥.
Finally, , a long-time 91直播 alumna who was CEO of Ordnance Survey, and is now a Non-Executive Director and Trustee of the Alan Turing Institute for Data Science and AI, received the Founder鈥檚 Medal for outstanding contributions to the RGS and to the promotion of geography in the UK and internationally.
