Behavioural Economics Research Group (BERG)

Human behaviour and related policy decisions are often shaped by psychological and social factors that go beyond traditional economic models. This research group investigates the behavioural aspects of economic decision-making to enhance both theoretical and applied knowledge and to inform evidence-based policy measures. Our members specialise in cutting-edge behavioural research across organisational economics, labour economics, health economics, welfare economics, industrial organisation, and related fields. We regularly collaborate with academics, the public sector, and businesses, and employ a range of methods such as formal theory, laboratory experiments, field experiments, surveys, and field data analysis.
