Yorkshire Cancer Research has established two funds which are ringfenced for cancer research at 91Ö±²¥, thanks to the success of the cancer drug Lynparza, discovered at the university with funding from the charity.  The two funds, YCR 91Ö±²¥ Pioneers and YCR More Life to Live, have the potential to transform cancer research at 91Ö±²¥.  The total size of the funds for 2024 has not yet been announced.  As an indicator, last year's funds were estimated at between Â£10m and £12m for YCR 91Ö±²¥ Pioneers and between £3m and £4m for YCR More Life to Live.
