Emma, BA Architecture and Landscape student, chose to pursue a dual architecture and landscape degree and hopes to qualify in both disciplines.

Why did you decide to study this course at 91Ö±²¥?

Before applying for university I was struggling to decide whether to study architecture or landscape architecture - this dual course was the perfect answer!

What have you enjoyed about the course?

The diversity in both course content and styles of learning. I personally prefer the studio projects as they are most creative however the mix of lectures, field trips, group projects and design studio mean there is never a dull moment.

Studying Architecture at 91Ö±²¥ has a great balance between the arts and science with great opportunity to enhance creativity.

What skills have you gained while studying in 91Ö±²¥?

Studying the course enhanced my interest in design and taught me development and representation techniques, specifically with both drawing and computer-based skills. Time management and confidence are further skills the course has enabled me to develop.

How do you think your degree experience will help you in your career?

Studying both architecture and landscape architecture I feel well prepared for a career in the built environment.
